Jean-Charles Scale holds of a DEA in Business Law (University of Paris II – Pantheon – Assas). He began his career with the firm of Francis Lebfevre and thereafter joined the international legal department of a large industrial group and then a major company. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1995.

He provides advice and litigates essentially in the areas of business law, intellectual property and sports law. He advises companies and entrepreneurs with respect to their projects as well as with respect to corporate, economic and commercial matters.

He has dual French and British citizenship and works in both languages for a French and international clientèle

He is a former member of the French Olympic sailing team and advises sports teams, more specifically with respect to the America’s Cup (2003 and 2007), Volvo Ocean Race (2011/2012) and the Vendée Globe.
